GILI GATEWAY FASTBOAT

Gili Getaway is the only boat that travels direct from Gili Trawangan to Bali and Bali to Gili Trawangan.

Please note that we depart from South Bali so there is no need to worry about the arduous and sometimes frightening 1hr 15 min car ride to Padang Bai.

We also supply chilled towels, complimentary refreshments on board, restaurant facilities at check in, clean air conditioned cars, friendly knowledgeable drivers and sun baking roof access so that you can enjoy the beautiful archipelago sun during your island getaway to the Gili’s

The Lombok strait at times can be treacherous for any and all fast boat services operating between Bali and the Islands and on the rare occasion that our boats cannot run due to safety reasons, you can rest assured that Gili Getaway will try to make this inconvenience as painless as possible. We will help by either rescheduling your departure or try finding an alternative means of transport to Gili T, the Gili’s, Lombok and Bali as reasonably and efficiently as possible.

Gili Getaway at present has 3 custom built, Fiber Glass Deluxe fast boats servicing the beautiful Gili Islands.

Gili Getaway II is a 15m/45 foot custom built, fiberglass Deluxe Speed Boat  designed to handle the conditions and unpredictable waters of the Lombok Straits and has upped the standard for the service to Lombok. She has been equipped with four 250hp, 4 stroke Suzuki outboard motors.

35 people can comfortably travel on our spacious sunbrella cushioned seats that are 1.3m/4ft wide. Small travel bags can be stowed under the seats. The boat is fitted with personal Wi-Fi earphones to compliment the on-board TV’s showing movies during the trip. We also have a ‘state of the art’ GPS tracking system with monitor to show and log our route to and from Bali and allow the guests to see exactly where they are and how long is remaining of the journey.

The large bathroom consists of granite countertops, mirrors. Full sized ‘electric’ flushing toilet and an open window so now visiting a bathroom on a fast boat is a pleasure rather than an inconvenience. It is fresh water throughout.

Although we cannot boast that we are the only boat that provides a Sun deck for those outdoor types. We can certainly boast the most comfortable sun baking deck. Personal back supports with padded cushions for comfort and safety as well as individual storage units inside the back rests for phones, Kindles, music devices and other personal belongings.

We also have an outside covered seating area at the stern of the boat for those that want the feeling of the wind through their hair without the heat from the sun, as this is a covered area that is protected from the sea and elements..

‘International safety standards and safety equipment’ all combine to provide a high speed, ‘Deluxe Class’ transfer to and from The Gili’s, Lombok and Bali in the safest manner possible.

Gili Getaway III is virtually identical to GGII the only difference being 1m shorter in length and 300mm narrower making for an even faster trip to the islands.

Our newest addition is Gili Getaway III which is a smaller lounge style fast boat with wide comfortable bench seats, teak tables and surrounds allowing you to fully relax and enjoy the ride to and from the virtually undiscovered island of Gili Gede.

From Kokomo Gili Gede ‘s New 100m Private Jetty we will have your feet in the waters of  Gili Trawangan within 40 mins.  During most trips the boat may stop to view Dolphins playing and frolicking in the azure waters of the Lombok Strait

Pick Up Info

Pick up is included from Kuta, Seminyak and Sanur.

From Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa main areas also included, however for Uluwatu and Bingin there is an extra charge of Rp100,000 per person or
max Rp250,000
per car.

From Tanah Lot areas the price is Rp350,000 per car.

From Canggu area is
Rp50,000 per person.

Please note –
baggage allowance is 25kg per person.

Surf boards, dive gear, prams, baby travel cots etc. are not a problem as long as we are notified at the time of booking.

Pick up from hotel at 7.00 – 7.30am

 Check-in time is always minimum of 30 minutes before departure time from ALL destinations of the day of departure

There will be a small additional cost for pick up / drop off outside these areas, please enquire for prices.

Depending on demand, Gili Getaway may need to change your departure time to one or the other available boats

Our two Gili Getaway boats depart from Serangan harbor everyday at 9:00 am and at 10.30 am

Gili Trawangan Departure time is 12:15 pm as well as 2.00 pm

Gili Air pick up time is 11:45am and 1.45 pm from Gili Air harbor

Lombok Teluk Kodek Harbor pick up is  12:00pm – 1.45 pm

Check in time is always a minimum of 30 minutes before departure time from ALL destinations on the day of departure

We will always travel directly to Gili Trawangan from Serangan Harbor Bali on our first boat GGII. We will then stop in Gili Air or Lombok after we drop off our arriving Trawangan guests.

After picking up any Gili Air or Lombok customers we then travel directly back to Bali from Gili Trawangan.

Our 2nd boat GGIII may go via Gili Gede before travelling onto Trawangan and Gili Air etc sometimes. This should only add 20 minutes onto the usual trip but will give a glimpse of the NEW Kokomo Resort and the Beautiful island of Gili Gede in the South west of Lombok.

For an additional cost, we can arrange a chartered private boat from Gili Trawangan. This will cost 400,000rp for up to 4 people.

Regardless of whether there is 1 person or 4 people the cost will be 400,000rp as this is a charter and is per boat.

A cheaper alternative is the “Island Hopper” which is a public boat service. This will cost 25,000rp per person one way. Unfortunately this service leaves Trawangan at 9am and 4pm, so could mean a little bit of waiting around before departure to Gili Meno.

The staff in Bali or Trawangan, will be willing to help arrange this for you. Please let us know if Meno is your final destination when booking your transfer.

Also please be informed there will be no pick up / drop off service provided on the Gili Islands; and you can easily walk or get a horse cart to / from your hotel.

There is also an extra pick up / drop off service available with a private speed boat for customers wishing to go to either Gili Air or Gili Meno.

Inter Island Transport

There is also an extra pick up / drop off service available with a private smaller speed boat for customers traveling with the Gili Getaway wishing to go to either Gili Meno or Gili Air.

The extra price is as follows –

1 person – Rp.100,000

2 people – Rp. 75,000

3 people – Rp. 70,000

4 people – Rp. 60,000

5 people – Rp. 55,000

6 people – Rp. 50,000

Please note – all prices are per person one way, children 4-11 years old have a 40% discount, and infants 3 years and under if sitting on a parents lap travel for free.

Customers must also reconfirm return extra pick up 24 hours prior to the departure date.

Pick up on Gili Air is from Scallywags restaurant / Gili Getaway office, and from Gili Meno in front of the steps in the harbour near Blue Marlin dive centre.
